Bloomingdale welcomed our very first Mystery Readers! Parents and staff members surprised classrooms by volunteering to share a special read-aloud with students.
Bloomingdale welcomed our very first Mystery Readers! Parents and staff members surprised classrooms by volunteering to share a special read-aloud with students. The excitement was contagious as students watched familiar faces from home and around the school step into the reader’s chair and bring a story to life. What a fun way to celebrate reading and bring our Bloomingdale community together!

Congratulations to Regan Jones, third-grade teacher at Bloomingdale Elementary School, on being named 2026 Elementary Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Jones is dedicated to creating a classroom where every student feels safe, valued and welcomed. She works hard to make sure her students know they belong and are supported every step of the way. Her commitment to building meaningful relationships with her students and creating a positive classroom community makes her so deserving of this recognition.
We are so proud to celebrate Mrs. Jones and the positive impact she makes on our Bloomingdale students every day!
